Foursquare Tips

  • James Bond would be a regular here.
  • Lupa and Oscar are two cool Amigos, relax with a cigar and unwind on a slow sunday after a Steak at Arlington Club next door, the perfect UES evening
  • Great spot, make sure your not wearing sneakers, socialize, everyone knows everyone
  • Cigars are mostly their brand - not much quality selection. Waitress has a huge attitude as well. Nice place otherwise.
  • best dark and stormy's i have ever had
  • Remember you can't wear sneakers inside . . . One disastrous trip uptown later
  • Minkus works here
  • Drinks are very good, bartender is very nice. However, ladies if you are reasonably ok to look at be prepared for a swarm of geezers.
  • Dress to impress ! There is a very strict dress code at the door.
  • The cocktails are good but they are $17
  • There's so much smoke inside, it's going to kill you..
  • If you don't like the smell of smoke, don't come here.
  • Stopped in on a rainy Thursday afterwork. Rang a buzzer to get through the door. Haze of cigar smoke hung in the air. Enjoyed highball makers.
  • Fuck this place. Rude, unhelpful staff, poorly constructed cocktails, and I was told they were "out of" a bunch of things that wasn't actually true - waitress was just too lazy to ask the bartender.
  • Avoid if you don't like smoking.
  • The whiskey and cigar bar is usually full of suit-clad businessmen winding down. Enjoy the refinement by the fireplace, while jazz plays overhead.
  • Dress code- collar shirt, tucked, pants
  • Whiskey Tuesdays, basically half off
  • Smoky as hell. Though I knew that going in. Just be prepared to burn your clothes after a night of wonderful drinks and relatively good service...
  • Good vesper martinis but the waitresses can be rude and the crowd is poorly dressed. There is a James Bond room in the back and they won't let anyone go there...
