Foursquare Tips

  • The new cash-only Williamsburg bistro opens for daily bunch on Friday, serving locally sourced French grub with a view of the open kitchen, or out back in a spacious garden with mosaic-tile looks.
  • Le Comptoir gets its meat from The Meat Hook, the Williamsburg butcher shop that receives its animals from small, local farms in Dutchess and Queens County. They're grass-fed and sustainably ranged.
  • Creme Brle French Toast? YOLO. So good you won't even hate yourself for saying YOLO. Also the feel good omelette made me feel only slightly above par. But overall a score.
  • Feel like having dessert for breakfast? Try the french toast creme brulee! Chef-owner Sebastian Chamaret generously shares the recipe here: http://ow.ly/63Cbl
  • Possibly the best bistro in Brooklyn.
  • Order the short rib eggs benedict! So effing good.. And drink your face off
  • THE SERVICE HERE IS QUITE POOR
  • Oscar's the best.
  • Weekend summertime steal - grab some friends, sit out back and order one entree and bottomless mimosas or bloodys for $25 a head. You'll never leave.
  • Mellow, neighborhood joint with a real life French chef cooking your dinner. For real. And it's damn good. Don't forget to order a side of cheese gnocchi, it's ridiculous. Kisses Sebastien!!!
  • Try the cheese gnocchi and go for oysters at the bar.
  • 25$ brunch with unlimited bloody or mimosa !!
  • $20.11 all you can drink brunch and a dish? Great music playing in the background and a very friendly staff?! Score! They even let us drink till 6pm and gave us free shots and desserts. I'll be back!
  • Gnocchi and cheese is awesome... Ordered an extra as well as the Et Voila cocktail.
  • $5 unlimited brunch coctail special :-)
  • The food, while delicious, comes in the tiniest portions known to man.
  • Once you go cheese gnocchi, you'll never go Mac n' cheese.
  • Come Friday serving booze.....
  • Happy to report that Le Comptoir will be licensed from around Nov 26th 2010
  • It's ok. Not amazing.
