Lavo

The place is loud, over crowded and frankly, I won't go back. The scene is fantastic, beautiful place, but....they clearly don't need my business . Waited an hour to sit, couldn't hear a thing, shoved us around and the food, while good, is not worth the abuse. Too many places that want your business in this city.Appetizers were excellent, served reasonably fast and server was extremely sympathetic to our plight, so service was outstanding. Main courses were not memorable, they were all fine, my chicken wasnt what I wanted, but it was ok. Other companions had decent experience, but we all agreed wasn't worth being abused. If I had a chance, I would go to another of the thousands of great restaurants throughout NYC.
