Foursquare Tips

  • The pastas are definitely the focal point of Thompson's newest & trendiest spot. The gnocchi, agnolotti w/ sweetbreads & seafood linguini are outstanding. Pay with Cover at skip waiting for the check!
  • The gnocchi is phenomenal. Meatball and polenta, grilled endives, fluke crudo - all excellent. Have the Dobel cocktail and enjoy. Pay with Cover.
  • From the chef behind Dell'Anima, you're sure to have a great meal here - whether it's the lamb shank hash for brunch, or any of the fresh pastas for dinner. Try to snag an outside table if possible!
  • Chef Gabe Thompson, of L'Artusi, Dell'Anima, and Anfora. Order any of the polenta dishes, and make sure to try one or two of the pastas. There is a big bar to accommodate you and a few of your friends
  • Order the apple cinnamon oatmeal pancakes for brunch and you'll dream about them later.
  • The garganelli verde is the best thing since sliced bread
  • Maple glazed squash is extraordinary. On the sides menu but might as well be classified as a dessert. Gotta get it.
  • White Negroni for the win! Best cocktail I've had in a while.
  • Plan extra time in your schedule because they unapologetically sat us over 30 minutes after our reservation time.
  • Get the linguine !!
  • Food is amazing! Personal favorites: broccoli rabe polenta, grilled fennel, the arancini is the best I've had in New York. Pappardelle with short rib ragu was also delicious. All in all, new favorite!
  • Pork chop at an Italian place? It's delicious. Don't forget to pay with Cover!
  • The brunch menu at here has a little something for everyone. You can get Italian pastries, salads, pancakes, fried chicken, pastas, and egg dishes. Order the polenta with shrimp, bacon, and tomato.
  • Roasted squash side. Also try the quail and linguini with clams. Say hi to ashley in the open kitchen!
  • Spice cake, apple cider sorbet, vanilla semifreddo, nuff said
  • In a large, bright, occasionally noisy space, chef Gabe Thompson pulls off smart but crowd-pleasing Italian that's full of big flavors.
  • Get there 30 min before your reservation and order a drink in the lounge. Great staff, and delicious pasta to boot.
  • The first east side restaurant from the owners of Dell'anima & L'Artusi. Try the pasta, definitely.
  • Vanilla semifreddo dessert is a hit!
  • Charred octopus and brussels sprouts are amazing! Go for three courses and spread it out.
