Foursquare Tips

  • Prices are high but the food was flavorful, expertly cooked and very satisfying. Beautiful atmosphere as well. Mushroom truffle soup was killer!
  • Beware of some of the rudest servers in Toronto. Leave extra tip because they obviously need it more than you do ;) blowing kisses
  • Wow. Creme Brule was outstanding - a must have!
  • Great place to go on Thursdays for $1 oysters!
  • Pre birthday shop lunch was surprising in how good it was. The room has always been stunning and now the food is. Chef Avril rocks. The Croque and mussels were superb. Looking forward to dinner.
  • Buckashuck Thursdays. A standing fave.
  • Love the food and the service. The wines are to die for.
  • Love the patio where else can u dine on bloor by all the top shopping. Also can u say brunch
  • Mushroom soup - amazing. Seared scallops - amazing. Get them.
  • $20 for a pint of Stella, mussels, and frites on Wednesdays.
  • The newest French addition to the neighbourhood, La Societe does not disappoint. From the over-the-top French dcor to the service, it is a complete experience not to be missed. Save room for dessert!
  • Oysters are amazing. They didn't have steak frites but the NY sirloin was very good. Get the fries on the side!
  • Mussels and steak and frites. Service was great at as. Lovely dining experience.

  • Unnecessarily pretentious, khakis and collars. I went here because I love 1920s decor, and french food is good. But yeah, too many uppity Ivy League sweater types.

  • Ask for the celebrity table if it's available! It's in the centre under the beautiful stain glass!
  • Duck salad is yummy, but small. Pastries were just ok. Pear tarte tatin is very good.
  • Great location and atmosphere! Lobster roll was good.
