Foursquare Tips

  • nothing disappoints. as william shatner once said on fresh prince: it's all good, it's all good!
  • Bad news...
  • Best macaroons (especially the pistachio) and croissants in town. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here. Bread is amazing and inexpensive. Try their sliders for brunch/lunch.
  • This challah is one of the prettier loaves out there, with flaxen crush and beautifully crisscrossing braided strands. The firm outer skin gives way to a chewy, soft interior.
  • Don't bother with this overpriced and rude bakery! If you can't be nice to people who live in the neighborhood who will you be nice to?
  • Don't go here! I live in the neighborhood and won't go again. They screw up your holiday order and then the owner yells at you. Charged my credit card 3 times on accident and couldn't handle a refund!
  • Chocolate croissants are heavenly, and breakfast is also great.
  • Go early in the day to snag some of their almond croissants. They are perfect and go FAST! So good.
  • Cafe late and apple or pear tarts! You'll be in heaven. The people here are nice if you are nice
  • They close at 1 pm on Sunday- get there early enough before the goodies sell out!
  • Awesome people- greeted with a smile. Get there early on the weekends to get stuff fresh! Coffee is a bit light for my taste
  • The BEST Pain au Chocolat I've ever tasted stateside... and I've tasted more than my fair share.
  • Their quiches are spectacular and the people are wonderful. Best neighborhood bakery.
  • A delicious Pain au Chocolat - crackly exterior of light, flaky crust and perfectly laminated tender folds inside. Inside, find bittersweet chocolate, melting into a ganache-pudding.
  • The breakfasts here are great! A thick slice of brioche topped with ham, their sauce, cheese and a fried egg?! How can you ask for anything more! Yum!
  • Croissants are good. The top chocolate layer of their Opera cake was too thick for me. The macarons are okay but I was not crazy about the texture.
