  • In 1925, La Fonda was purchased by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad andoperated as one of the famed Harvey Houses.
  • You'll love this old, beautifully decorated hotel and its great location!
  • If you're lucky you might see the owner, Jane La Fonda. She sometimes sits in with the band and plays the drums.
  • If you eat at the LaFonda in Santa Fe, be sure to get "enchiladas del Norte with red & green chile"!!Christmas style!

  • Prior to booking on Orbitz call and ask for a room with a fireplace at the orbitz price. Not worth the 90 dollar a mite upgrade when you only paid 99 dollars for the room.
