  • Chefs Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu are everywhere if you follow Spanish-language media. Try the purple-corn pozole, delicious enfrijoladas, and an impeccable version of chiles en nogada!
  • Have you ever found transcendence in a plate of chilaquiles? This is a good place to try.
  • Some of LA's most authentic Mexican food can be found here. Inexpensive, located in Bell, more than worth the drive. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Authentic food...
  • Best Mexican in LA!
  • They sell their mole sauce by the bottle as well!
  • When pressed to answer the question, what is the best mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, this is my stock answer. The chile en nogada is terrific, sure, but don't miss out on the 3 house moles.
  • Their specialty dish is their Chiles en Nogada, which is a Poblano Chile Pepper stuffed with ground pork, nuts, seeds, dried fruit topped with either a walnut or pecan sauce & pomegranate seeds.
  • Come to sample La Casita and others at this years Gold Standard on 3/6/11! http://bit.ly/iaPthT

  • Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!
  • One of the best Mexican places in LA. It is so good that it is almost worth trekking out to Bell just for it. The chiles en nogada are a must!
  • Their coffee is soo good. Prepared with cinnamon, it has a spicy kick at the end.
  • It looks like a hole-in-the-wall on the outside, but on the inside is some wonderful authentic Mexican food in a charming setting. And don't forget to save room for the Churros con Cajeta (caramel)!
  • There's nothing particularly unique or spectacular about the ingredients for their churros, yet La Casita Mexicana chefs...transform one of the most popular Mexican desserts into a sublime treat.
  • Their multi-region menu touts expertly prepared moles, chiles rellenos and sugar-dusted churros piped with oozing dulce de leche, to name just three dishes
  • Great place for authentic Mexican food... I haven't ever tasted anything quite like it... worth the drive.
  • Chilaquiles! There are 4 different choices: rojo, verde, chipotle, and mole - so many choices! And all so delicious - especially if you get it with chorizo - you won't be disappointed.
