Foursquare Tips

  • Great beach to hang out on, Los of free parking close by and almost always sunny!
  • In 1902 Kaimana Beach was the historic site for the state's first submarine cable providing a telegraphic link between Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.
  • great place for bbq. but get here early for your spot. park at kapiolani park and walk over. plenty free spaces.
  • My favorite town beach. If you're "thirsty" go to Russell's convenience store and get a few Pina Colada Clubs. Don't knock it till you try it!
  • Local beach. Not as crowded as Waikiki.
  • Good to swim, surf, and kayak here.
  • Swimming to the buoy and back a few times is a nice little workout! Plus you can usually see a good assortment of sea life :)
  • If you get here early in the morning, vis is pretty good and you can see some colorful reef fish!
  • A small beach on the way from Waikk beach to Diamond Head.
  • Water is beautiful in this area and not too crowded.
