Foursquare Tips

  • Savor the Blackened Flavor: the kitchen that launched the redfish craze now makes great blackened drum. -Gambit's Five in 5.
  • The BEST restaurant in the French Quarter by far. Everything on the menu is divine. Ask to sit upstairs.
  • Order the fried green tomatoes, and save the jalapeno buns from the bread basket to mop up the sauce.
  • Try the jambalaya...one of the best!
  • If you're worried about the dress code, don't. People were wearing everything from shorts to jeans to suits for dinner.
  • Get the Blackened anything. #FTW
  • Lunch is 1 of the best values around
  • Theres strong potential to stuff yourself to the breaking point before the actual meal on K-Pauls homemade breads - so savory the Pillsbury Dough Boy will be cowering in the corner while you munch.
  • Get the Shrimp touffe. The "gravy" is Paul's roux recipe and is not to be missed!
  • Hands down best bread pudding EVER. If only pictures had taste buds.
  • How do you make mashed potatoes this good?
  • Possibly the best meal I've had from start to finish. Started w/ fried oysters w/ a Brie cream sauce. Entree: if you don't get the blackened drum then you've made a mistake. Bread pudding dessert FTW
  • The blackened chicken and jambalaya plate is delicious. The chicken is spicy and moist and the jambalaya is dark and smoky. Just don't try to eat it all; it took me 18 hours to eat again.
  • Try the Bread Pudding
