Foursquare Tips

  • I threw a tennis ball to a dog here once. He came back with a tennis racquet and a tennis pro named Sheila. He was a very smart dog.
  • Catch a live theater or music performance. Watch a pick-up soccer, basketball or handball game. Take your kids to enjoy the playground. Or Fido can frolic with his friends. Its all here.
  • Over 200 American Revolution Patriots died here during the Battle of Brooklyn.
  • check out the old stone house, a simple bit surprisingly interesting rev war musuem!
  • Great playground and spray park.
  • Just opened after 13 months closed. The water spray toys and climbing features are legit.
  • Super nice place to hang out and rest.
  • Weekdays during the school year, avoid this place from like 11:30-12:45. At that time it is overrun with middle school students and there will be no place to sit. A nice park but not much shade.
  • Good community theatre spot.
  • Great park, always crowded.
  • Gets crowded quickly. Beware the water feature. But clean and safe, with amenities nearby.
  • Concave benches make for a happier back when sitting down and watching the kids play!
  • Just renovated and it's a kid's summer dream. Literally have running water to play in everywhere
  • Great park little shade but around water features are big sharp angular rocks, what were they thinking? Lawsuit waiting to happen.
  • Watch out for teens running around in toddlers' area during the lunch break
  • The playground is finally open and it's a madhouse already
  • The new playground is amazing. The controls for the water are in your hands!
  • Somebody really, really needs to WD-40 the swing set.
