Jeremy Lin Calls A New York Hotel Suite Home

And the Linsanity continues... The New York Post reported yesterday that the Knicks' breakout star Jeremy Lin (source of all kinds of moniker madness) is moving on up in the world. By which we mean he's moving downtown.

As soon as he started having 28-plus point games, breathing life into the Knicks' season, it became big news that this serious talent wasn't living large like his fellow players. He was living on his brother's couch. A little more than a week ago, it was reported that he's renting a $3,800 per month apartment at Trump Towers in White Plains, near the team's practicing facilities. But he can't be expected to live all the way out in White Plains all the time, can he? (And he's not about to couch surf again now that he's a fixture on the team's starting lineup.) Lin is now renting a posh, fully furnished, and hyper-designed two-bedroom condo at the W Hotel in the Financial District, which is listed for $13,000 a month (though apparently he got a better deal).

The New York Post reports that the building's amenities include the requisite gym, a lounge with video games, a screening room, rooftop terrace, and a café. But of course, residents also have preferred access to the hotel's restaurants and bars, the BLT Bar & Grill and the Living Room Bar & Terrace. Both are outfitted in the sleek black-red-and-silver style of most W hotels and serve done-up classics like hamburgers and sandwiches alongside seasonal cocktails, entrées from the grill, and signature desserts.
