Foursquare Tips

  • Truly, the best cocktails on Smith St.
  • Great Bartenders. Ask for a recommendation, they won't steer you wrong.
  • $2 off drinks during happy hour. Definitely sample The JakeWalk and their extensive cheeses and fondues.
  • Though the menu is smaller, cocktails at JakeWalk are just about as good as the ones at Clover Club and better than Brooklyn Social
  • Best place to get an old-fashioned cocktail, or just an old-fashioned. Bartenders play amazing music too - like the Harlem Shakes (deep cut!)
  • The bartender is awesome! He let me sample and sample until I found the right drink for me. Oh, and they've got sorrel liquer! WTF!! :)))
  • I have never been blown away by the service. One time I ordered a seltzer and the bartender just slammed the can on the bar and tossed it in my direction. I will not be going back here ever again.
  • Order a Mostly Harmless. Not on the menu: tequila, agave, absinthe, cucumber. Incredibly incredibly refreshing.
  • Ask Jeremy to make you an old fashioned. Best ever!
  • roaring forties. stinky.
  • Try the rye/cognac-based Blood, Lust and Diamonds cocktail. Sounds like a Lorde song, tastes awesome.
  • Wine. Cheese. Salami. What could be better?
  • Great fondue!
  • electric mayhem cocktail - bourbon, yellow chartreuse, aperol, lemon, angostura bitters
  • Good spot for a cocktail. Usually pretty low-key, but nice.
  • The delice de Bourgogne is insane!!
  • Get a Negroni in T-Minor for a delicious twist on a classic.
  • In was supposed to receive my 'loyalty' free glass of wine or cocktail but Tuesday night's bar tender is so unfriendly I decided to leave instead.
  • Bryan the bar tender is more than a mixologist, he is a veritable virtuoso, an alchemist!
  • The fondue used to be better. Now it's like cheese sauce. Skip! Unless you like Blue Box Mac&Cheese.... ;)
