Foursquare Tips

  • The second location of the acclaimed Japanese ramen chain, home to some of our favorite ramen in the city.
  • There's a parking lot between 8th and 9th Aves you can cut across if you hedged your ramen bet and put your name down at Totto
  • If you don't order the pork buns you are making a big mistake
  • 100 times better than totto in terms of good and ambiance
  • Best pork buns. Oh and huge bonus--there's 2 ply toilet paper!
  • Omg get the pork buns. Just get them!!!
  • I could slurp this ramen all night. Barely any wait. Menu has fewer items than lower east store. I would recommend the Yuzu sake for anyone who likes sweets. Don't forget your fat pants.
  • Same high quality ramen, minus the 2+ hour wait. (Minimal <10 minutes wait for both times so far)
  • Well I agree and I'll say it again, The Pork Buns Are Sensational!!!
  • Pork buns are insane. Conservatively estimate that you could eat 50 and be happy about it.
  • The noodles at the West Side outpost of NYCs popular, word-of-mouth ramen darling are just as good as the ones at the East Village original. Tip: Order the Akamaru Modern.
  • This and Totto Ramen are the only redeeming factors of Midtown West
  • Stupid waiting policy but incredibly good ramen. Very restorative.
  • So impressed with the service and menu knowledge at this location. The preserved egg in my ramen was perfectly cooked, and make sure you order the spicy chicken katsu bun. Hot, crispy and delicious!
  • The westside special ramen with dashi is awesome. Need to get the Lady M crepe cake for dessert!
  • The best pork buns you will ever have.
  • If you don't get the pork buns you are missing out on something very special.
  • ambiance isn't nearly as great as the one in east village but short wait time and same mouth watering pork buns still makes it an ippuDO
  • Only three ramens instead of four like the Astor place location. Great service. Much quieter as they don't yell as loud when you enter.
  • Hyped for a reason - it's the best. Get the Akamaru Modern. The new Brooklyn/Ippudo Kaedama is a really good Belgian style beer
