How To Eat Like Nadia G. On The Road

The Daily Meal caught up with Nadia G., star and host of The Cooking Channel's Bitchin' Kitchen, at the Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival on July 26 to 29 to get the scoop on what snacks she can't live without while on the road.

As a chef, Nadia maintains is on the road in spurts throughout the year, a schedule which she describes as "a little grueling" and filled with "lots of travel."

Amid her travel-packed schedule, there are a few go-to foods Nadia looks forward to eating when going from place to place, such as breakfast sandwiches.

"When I'm on the road, I really love having a breakfast sandwich, which I don't usually eat when I'm not traveling," said Nadia, who revealed that her favorite breakfast sandwich contains sausage, egg, and cheese. "It's just delicious."

Another one of Nadia's favorite travel snacks is chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds.

"I love chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds," said Nadia. "I find those a lot and end up scoffing up a bag of them and feeling really dirty inside."

In terms of maintaining her regular diet on the road, Nadia talked about the difficulty she faces eating healthy while traveling.

"I don't eat healthy when I travel to be honest," quipped Nadia. "I wish I had better tips like water or carrots but really anything that has thousands of milligrams of sodium in it, I'll eat it."
