How To Cook Like Bradley Cooper

People Magazine's 2011 Sexiest Man Alive has a lot more to him than his gorgeous looks and his acting skills — he can cook, too. When he's not on-screen making us laugh in comedies like The Hangover and Wedding Crashers, Cooper likes to spend his time in the kitchen. Here, the Cook editors tell you how to cook like Cooper.

Grandmother's Recipes

Cooper credits his grandmother for teaching him how to cook, most specifically, how to make pasta. If you want to brush up on your Italian dishes in the kitchen and cook like Cooper, check out our video with The Daily Meal's video producer Ali Rosen on how to make fresh pasta

Lasagna

Cooper started cooking at a very young age, but he didn't just cook with his grandmother. He brought his skills to school as well. "I prided myself in taking whatever was in the fridge and turning it into lasagna," he told Entertainment Weekly. Here's a more conventional lasagna recipe for Cooper to try.

Kitchen Confidential

In 2005, Cooper played Jack Bourdain, a character based on Anthony Bourdain, in a television series based off Bourdain's best-selling book Kitchen Confidential. Because most of the book went into detail about French cooking at Les Halles, we're pretty sure Cooper learned how to make this classic French dish from Julia Child: potage aux concombres

Cooking for an Interviewer

Last year, Cooper cooked a spinach and squid dish for journalist Lisa Taddeo of Esquire while she interviewed him for an article. Ugh — jealous. If Cooper ever lets us interview him, we'll request this squid dish instead.

Left-Handed Cooking

Cooper's left-handed, so when we go to buy him a gift for this holiday season, we'll probably check out a website like this for kitchen gadgets.
