Foursquare Tips

  • No longer a secret since Michael Bauer blessed it with three stars, this Inner Richmond spot isn't the cheapest in a hood filled with dim sum, but it's one of the best.
  • Get the baked pork buns. Best I have had. They don't look amazing on pictures but they taste it. Dim sum is great and reasonably priced.
  • Shady business practice - 25$ minimum for credit cards.
  • No fresh live seafood
  • Dim sum was quite good and the xiao long bao exceeded my expectations. Skip the coffee ribs & go for the garlic pea shoots.
  • Really yummy dim sum! Dishes come out hot and fresh. Big fan of the har gow (shrimp dumplings). The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were also great. Great for large groups if you can wait for a table.
  • Really good dim sum, but really expensive. The baked bbq pork bun was really good.
  • This place is amazing for Dim Sum or for an authentic Chinese dinner. Not a very inventive restaurant but definitely a high. Amazing Shanghai Dumplings and pork buns!
  • Pristine, perfectly cooked Chinese dishes. Surf clams, pea shoots and salt-pepper items are highlights.
  • Really disappointed! Can't believe this is in michael bauer's top 100 list!
  • Get the baked pork buns! (Hong kong style)
  • Has all the good stuff of HKL I with half the wait. Baked pork buns, pan fried daikon cake, steamed surf clam.
  • Been here thrice, lunch and breakfast seems fine but dinner was literally awful. Just order dimsome here and you are fine. I was reluctant to return there, but dimsome was still fine there.
  • Turnip cakes are amazing! Like Chinese home fries.
  • Great food and for a very good price! Try the Steamed Pork dumplings & the Shanghai dumplings!
  • Yummy Dimsum & Roasted Duck!!
  • Ask about the VIP room in back
  • Two to three items per person will do you right.
  • har kow is decent
  • No $8 large tamale.
