Homestead: Best Bars In San Francisco

Around since 1902, Homestead has had customers come back for generations for completely understandable reasons.

It's a solid bar with no frills, no televisions, a great jukebox, and is filled with locals. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves there; there's a friendly and fun vibe. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. It's extremely charming and feels like a small town bar; the old fashioned cash register that's been around since at least the 1930s adds to the great ambiance. It's full of hipsters (as most Mission bars are), but it's off the beaten path of the normal hip Mission venues.

Most seats are at the bar; it's an intimate drinking experience and a great location to socialize. The bar is open every day from 2 p.m. – 2 a.m. and happy hour is from 2-6 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Stop by Homestead for deliciously strong cocktails and a unique San Francisco experience.
