INGREDIENTS
- 275 grams butter, softened
- 325 grams granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 500 grams all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Royal icing, for decorating
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar in a stand mixer, then slowly beat in the eggs and vanilla. Quickly add the flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until well incorporated. Wrap in plastic and chill for 10 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the cookie dough to about ¼-inch thickness. Cut with various shaped cookie cutters.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes.
Let cool before decorating with royal icing.
