Dirty Oscar's Annex featured a soft, gooey, upscale take on the humble, beloved s’more.

On Feb. 24, the Seattle Wine and Food Experience (SWFE) assembled local and international wineries, breweries, distilleries, purveyors of fine artisanal foods, and more than 20 of the region’s outstanding chefs in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall for a remarkable epicurean gathering. Showcasing the talents of area winemakers and chefs as well as the quality of local ingredients, this event gave the Pacific Northwest a chance to flaunt its attractions as a food lover's destination.

This culinary celebration also served as a forum for sharing ideas and bringing people together with a mutual passion for fine food and beverage. Many exhibitors traveled to attend, and Micah Fields, the executive chef of The Standard Hotel in LA and a participant in Bravo’s Top Chef: Seattle, put in an appearance at sponsor Snoqualmie Casino’s Luxe Lounge. Moreover, many food offerings were collaborative efforts, such as Jonboy’s absinthe and black salt caramels with Pacific Distillery’s Pacifique Absinthe. The true pleasure of sampling the many bites and sips at the show lay in finding serendipitous combinations. Check out the slideshow for some of SWFE’s standouts.
