Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg white
  • 4 ounce greek yogurt
  • 6 ounce feta cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped dill weed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cucumber, cubed
  • 1 tomato, cubed
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, diced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 whole wheat buns, toasted
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, chopped mushrooms, chopped onion, and egg white. Form into four 4-inch-round patties; refrigerate, covered, for 15 minutes to set. Grill patties over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on each side, flipping once.
  2. Combine yogurt, feta cheese, dill, and garlic in a medium bowl and blend until smooth.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cucumber, tomato, olives, and onion with the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Place one burger patty in each bun, topping with ¼ of feta spread and ¼ of Greek salad topping.
