Foursquare Tips

  • Were here for the beer, and it doesnt disappoint, be it draft (note the goose-shaped taps), or in bottles. But the food is better than it has to be homemade chips! as is the pubby atmosphere.
  • Try the beer. It's delicious.
  • Matilda is a beer drinker's beer. Give it a try.
  • Get the 312 wheat beer!
  • Try the Bourbon County Stout ... it's an experience.
  • Drink a Green Line Pale Ale.
  • try the honker's ale
  • love the walleye fish and chips with a quality beer!
  • Try anything with the BBQ sauce, it's made with their ale. BBQ chicken tenders are my fave. And 312 is an excellent session beer for watching a game!
  • Come watch usc football here!
  • Their standard beers are good, but nothing to get worked up about. However, bring your big-boy pants and try the Bourbon County Stout. Amazing.
  • Great beer! Bourbon County Stout is off the charts! I also like Green Line Pale Ale, Oatmeal Stout and Nut Brown. If you like beer, they will have a style that suits you.
  • When ordering food, try the sweet potato fries as your side; the curry ketchup they come with are a revelation. If you're drinking, be sure to ask to start an MBA program.
  • Sloooow service. Cheese curds and beer are great!
  • Cubby Blue and Wrigleyville white are the way to go when they're available!
  • The turkey burger is amazing!! Sounds weird on menu but the flavors work.
  • Summertime ale and the big pretzels. Nuff said.
  • Try the Cubbie Blue! (and boo anyone that orders the White!)
  • Fried pickles!!! They are EPIC.
  • Great beer on tap. Sofie is soft and smooth. Sweet potato fries and chips were awesome.
