Foursquare Tips

  • The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is located at 25th and Seawall Boulevard, on the pier that formerly featured The Flagship Hotel.
  • A lot of fun - our company rented the place out just for us! and there were tall boy Pabst Blue ribbon Beers!
  • Racist security.
  • Iron Shark, Pirates Plunge, and Sea Dragon are all great!
  • Amusements as well as the historical element of the Pier will bring back memories of what the destination was known for in the late 1940s. The Sea Dragon ride gives you a great view of the island!
  • Pleasure Pier is a great addition to the island. It can be kind of expensive though. After eating lunch, paying for rides and games and snacks and drinks throughout the day, I spend close to $100.
  • Not worth $10 each just to get in. Games and rides are lame.
  • Stupid rides.not fun.boring.WASTE OF MONEY!$$$$$$
  • Winter special. Walk on for only $5!!!
  • The toy cop at the front is a super Dbag!
  • The real party is underneath the pier!!!
  • Complete waste of money. Horrible you have to pay $10 per person in advance to find out over 1/2 the rides aren't open. and that's $10 just to stand around $22 to ride the rides!
  • Pirates Plunge da ride operatrlk bir harikayd :)
  • You have to pay to get in no matter what, but if you get the day pass for rides, it is totally worth it. I spent all day there with my dad and 4-year-old sister and never ran out of things to do.
  • Too pricey for what u get.
  • Great times. If you go make sure you have a bit of money because nothing is cheap there. Right down to admission. Lots of stuff to do
  • Ride the Iron Shark, it's so much fun!!
  • The pier is an amusement park so you pay admission even if you don't ride just like other amusement parks. However they do offer a discounted price of $10 if you don't want to ride.
  • Such a rip off... Ten bucks just to walk around, and there id nothing even open yet. So angry ill never come back
  • Getting there an hour before sunset was the best idea. Not as hot & the lights are spectacular. Make sure to book your Bubba Gump reservation well in advance though. We were told it was a 2 hr wait!
