Foursquare Tips

  • Try the escargot or any steak they have for the season. Also get the buffalo trace bourbon neat and you won't regret it.
  • Lamb shank. Do it.
  • The selection of french wines is magnifaque!
  • Had the seafood stew again. Amazing as always. The escargot is fantastic, not to be missed.
  • At Franco, a French-inspired bistro, fried frog legs are served with grits. Another tasty dish: the seafood stew of shrimp, mussels, clams, squid & scallops in a ratatouille broth.
  • Everything
  • Get the escargot. It's not a traditional preparation, but it's so beyond worth it. Also, ask about wine pairings - they won't lead you astray! Great service and wonderful food.
  • I'm in agreement. The lamb shank is tender and delicious!
  • The confit pork belly is my favorite.
  • Franco's signature drink, the Silver and Sand, features Lillet Rouge, lemon juice, a Danish liqueur Cherry Heering, lemon ginger scotch, lemon bitters and an egg white.
  • Food not very good for the price; chicken was greasy.
  • Lamb shank is amazing! Never had anything bad.. Fancy and nice sized portions while not too expensive!
  • Fries Taste Test: Our readers love the fries at Franco.
  • Amy I LOVE YOU
  • The PB&J dessert is WELL worth the $7.
  • Pt Melt. Nuff said. Bread pudding is divine and I hate using that word. Do it. MUST! This is the only restaurant you must visit while in St. Louis. But for BBQ, Pappy's.
  • One of the better restaurants in STL.
  • Pomme frites are amazing.
  • Fly far from the tiny chicken entree portion that is saltier than the Atlantic. Meh.
  • This restaurant is closing on Feb 20, 2016. It was a very good run.
