Burger King — King Kong Burger

In conjunction with the release of King Kong in 2005, Burger King began marketing a new burger crafted to "feed king-sized appetites." The Triple Whopper with cheese was simply a larger version of the original Whopper, and included three patties instead of one. The chain also rolled out a chocolate banana milkshake to promote the film. 

Baskin-Robbins — Men in Black 3 Ice Cream

In anticipation of the May 25 movie premiere of Men in Black 3, Baskin-Robbins introduced a few frozen treats inspired by the film on May 1. The Lunar Cheesecake flavor was originally created in 1969 to commemorate the first spaceflight to land on the moon; the ice cream chain rebooted the flavor for MIB 3 with green and white cheesecake ice cream, cheesecake chunks, and a graham cracker crust ribbon. The Pink Surprise Cake is evidently inspired by a pivotal scene in the movie; it includes Oreo ice cream layered between two sheets of devil's food cake.

Campbell’s — Disney Princess Soup

In an attempt to appeal to picky eaters everywhere, Campbell's soup created a line of chicken noodle soups inspired by Disney movies and characters. The Disney Princess soup includes noodles shaped like castles and crowns and the label features the princesses. The Cars soup is similar with, well, car-shaped noodles. 

Frankford Candy — SpongeBob Squarepants Gummy Krabby Patties

In conjunction with The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in 2004, Frankford Candy created gummy versions of the main character's favorite food, Krabby Patties. The treat includes a patty, with all the fixings and a sesame seed bun, made completely out of gummy candy.

Jelly Belly — Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans

Certainly, Harry Potter mania started long before the movie series premiered, but it wasn't until after the films started that Jelly Belly began packaging Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and chocolate frogs. Every box of beans includes 20 flavors, ranging from booger and earwax to cinnamon and green apple. The milk chocolate frogs may not hop around like they do in the movies, but they do include crisped rice to make them a bit bumpy. 

Post Cereal — Pebbles Cereal

Post Cereal debuted Pebbles Cereal in 1971, inspired by the characters in The Flintstones. The original Cocoa Pebbles includes chocolate-flavored crisped rice and the Fruity Pebbles feature the same crisped rice cereal in a variety of fruit flavors. Most recently, Post introduced a cake batter flavor called Cupcake Pebbles and Marshmallow Pebbles in 2010.

Quick Restaurants — Dark Vador Burger and Jedi Burger

With the release of Star Wars: Episode I in 3-D in January, European fast-food chain, Quick, introduced the Dark Vador Burger, Jedi Burger, and the Dark Burger at their French restaurants. The Dark Vador includes two patties topped with hot pepper sauce, melted pepper cheese, lettuce, and tomato, plus a bun that's been dyed black. The Dark Burger is the same as the Dark Vador, but with a traditional bun. The Jedi Burger includes two patties topped with mozzarella cheese, melted emmental cheese, and creamy mayo spread.

Mountain Dew — Mountain Dew Dark Berry

The largest promotion to come out so far for the release of The Dark Knight Rises is from Mountain Dew. In addition to unveiling a new soda flavor inspired by the film, Mountain Dew Dark Berry, the campaign also includes access through DewGothamCity.com to exclusive content from The Dark Knight Rises and various opportunities for fans to win stellar prizes. 

Domino's Pizza — The Dark Knight Rises Meal

To celebrate the debut of The Dark Knight Rises, Domino's Pizza in Malaysia is offering a special meal inspired by the film. The $25 combo includes one regular First Class pizza, garlic cheese onion rings, cheesy bread or chocolate lava cake, and one limited edition The Dark Knight Rises glass. 

Hershey's — Reese's Dark Peanut Butter Bats

In conjunction with the release of The Dark Knight, Hershey's unveiled a limited edition Reese's product sure to thrill Batman fans — dark chocolate peanut butter bats. The candy also included a chance for consumers to "Find the Bat-Signal and Win," which was an instant-win promotion that included prizes ranging from an official Joker Henchmen mask to an Agusta F4 motorcycle inspired by Batman, valued at $35,000. 

Yoplait — The Dark Knight Go-Gurt

With the release of The Dark Knight in 2008, Yoplait introduced limited edition packaging for its portable yogurt, Go-Gurt promoting the film. The packages included lowfat Paradise Punch and Rad Raspberry flavors. The company also hosted a contest that gave yogurt lovers a chance to "live like Batman". 

Hershey's — Kit Kat Dark Knight Special Edition

Along with release of Reese's Dark Peanut Butter Bats, Hershey's also unveiled special edition Kit Kat bars with a bat symbol molded into the chocolate. By purchasing one of these unique Kit Kat bars, fans of the film had the opportunity to win instant prizes, such as a home theater system or widescreen television.
