From restaurant openings to launching liquor brands, sports enthusiasts are getting a healthy dose of food and drink news this week. Designated hitters, Jorge Posada and David "Big Papi" Ortiz, swung for the fences during the Sox-Yanks series this week, but both made headlines with food-related announcements off the field too.

• David Ortiz to Open a New Restaurant Location: Boston Restaurant Talk reported on Monday that the Red Sox slugger is opening a location of his Big Papi's Grille in Boston proper. He plans to close the current location in the Boston suburb of Framingham before opening the new one.

• Jose Posada Launches a Sangria Brand: The Yankees catcher, Jorge Posada and his wife Laura have developed a brand of ready-to-drink sangria called Cinco Anillos (meaning "Five Rings" in Spanish). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jorge Posada Foundation

• MillerCoors Gets Creative In Response to NFL Lockout: With the lockout now in its 88th day and no closer to a resolution, MillerCoors is trying to come up with alternative advertising and marketing strategies to bolster their sales during the upcoming season.
