Foursquare Tips

  • Has an inventive beverage program that might pair your spicy paella soup with "easy drinking session beers" and "sipping rums" with your lamb burger.
  • You can't go wrong with anything on the menuand the best Manhattans on the UWS. - Tyler French, Hunting Season
  • Can you even get phone reception down here? What you want is the prawn bruschetta, followed by a lamb burger and a glass of big red.
  • Keep swimming... Boring atmosphere with equally boring (and inexperienced) waitstaff. The food is overly ambitious. I foresee an early closure with this spot.
  • We need more restos like this on the UWS; fishtag, you're it.
  • The smoked octopus with new potatoes, hearts of palm, date & green olive puree, snow pea leaves and pumpkin seeds is a great dish.
  • Pig & Fig surprisingly bland, lamb burger was severely undercooked, and the Greek salad looked sad & tasted like bong water. Avoid this place.
  • Come for fish or cocktails -- Smokey D is consistently delicious, and so is the snapper
  • Amazing food, service and cocktail list! The wine and beer list is also amazing. Get the muscles and the prawn bruscetta!
  • When in the mood for awesome seafood this is the place to eat. This seafood centric Mediterranean restaurant offers delicious garnished fresh fish and an exotic raw bar.
  • The branzino w head cheese is amazing.
  • So surprisingly good, given the low profile this place has. It was pretty empty, but we ordered charcuterie (try the lardo!) and a fantastic branzino with crispy brussels sprouts. Will return.
  • Great wine list which help pair menu items
  • Smoked trout salad is a great way to start
  • The smoked octopus was amazing and the sundae was over the top! The menu set up is a bit awkward but I appreciate the intent. You'll know what I mean when you go.
  • Good but wouldn't come back.
  • A lot of brunch entrees have pork but never mention this in the menu
  • Cerviche, get some wine and cheese to go along with it.
  • Fresh fish options
  • Try the smoked octopus. Sticky, yet satisfying
