The Fish and the Rhinoceros

Chef and Restauranteur Mike Stollenwerk has moved his high-end seafood restaurant Fish from the corner of 13th and Locust 100 feet to the east to a smaller space on Locust Street. As of Monday, the old corner location now serves as the home of a new venture of his, aiming to be a neighborhood spot rather than a destination restaurant. Fish, which Stollenwerk opened in 2010 and closed for about two weeks earlier this year to retool the concept, serves up such creatures of the sea as mackerel, octopus, and mahi mahi, but Stollenwerk’s new outing, Rhino Bar, will not be serving rhinoceros. Instead, you can expect 9 beers on tap, a raw bar, and an extensive menu, and you can expect the kitchen to stay open until 1 a.m.
