Fine Dining In The Heart Of Salt Lake City

Located in the heart of downtown Salt lake City, Bistro 222 is perfect for the business power lunch, a relaxed dinner with friends, or even a date night and time away from the kids. Everything about this restaurant, from the food to the ambiance, is simple but classy.

The decor is modern, with clean lines and a lot of black and white. Large floor to celling glass windows offer a view of the busy city street as you dine. Watch everyone on the outside hustle and bustle as you sit back and relax with a glass of wine and the stone oven fired mussels.

Chef Michael Jewell has designed a terrific contemporary American menu for Bistro 222. A lot of the dishes are deceptively simple, like the lamb meatballs, fettuccine and clams, or the prosciutto and arugula pizza, with three cheeses: the house made ricotta, fresh mozzarella, and smoked gouda. However, everything is cooked to perfection. For example, the calamari, served with arugula and an herbed aioli for dipping, is fried just right, crisp, but not excessively oily.

Chef Jewell also has a deep love of fine wine and Bistro 222 has a wine list boasting 120 choices. With such an extensive list there is a perfect pairing, or two, for every dish on the menu. Be sure to ask your knowledgeable server for suggestions.
