February Food Events In Los Angeles

Here's a rundown of food events to look forward to in Los Angeles in February. 

Café Rockenwagner Opens in Brentwood
Chef Hans Rockenwagner has opened Café Rockenwagner in Brentwood. The new café offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with menu specials including avocado fries, roasted red snapper, smoked salmon mousse and specialty cocktails.

Chi-Lin Offering Chinese New Year Specials
West Hollywood's Chi-Lin is offering 50 percent off cuisine from February 2 through 6 in honor of Chinese New Year. The menu is featuring dishes to usher in good luck, fortune and longevity in the Year of the Horse.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Warms Up Winter
Thought March 2, the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf will offer latte macchiato in caramel, vanilla bean and dark chocolate. A twist on the classic latte macchiato, the drink is comprised of whole milk, a choice of caramel, vanilla bean or dark chocolate sauce topped with foam and a shot of espresso.

City Tavern Opens Downtown
The downtown location of City Tavern will open February 4.  Located at Fig & 7th, the restaurant will offer a seasonally ingredient driven menu of fresh fish, burgers, steak and pasta dishes as well as a wide variety of California craft beers and wine.

Herringbone Los Angeles  Opens at Mondrian
Celeb Chef Brian Malarkey and Enlightened Hospitality Group have opened Herringbone Los Angeles at the Mondrian Hotel. Featuring ocean to table cuisine, the menu includes fish specialties from around the world and a variety of surf and turf dishes.

Umami Burger Unveils Monte Cristo Burger
Umami Burger is offering a specialty burger created by Chef Michael Voltaggio for a limited time. The Monte Cristo Burger is a signature beef patty covered with Gruyere fondue and prosciutto on a custard soaked and fried bun with a side of maple syrup for $15. A portion of the proceeds go to the LA Mission.

Barbershop Ristorante Pops Up in Hollywood
Barbershop Ristorante, the successful pop-up restaurant by Chef Walter el Nagar, has presented its fifth installment at the Farmer's Kitchen at 1555 Vine Street in Hollywood. Running through Feb. 15, diners can enjoy a 9-course prix fixe menu for $85. Reservations can be made here.
