Tickets Available Now For Spring Food And Wine Events

Spring is chock-full of food and drink events happening nationwide. Check out the tickets available today for events in New York City, Chicago, and Portland below:

• 2011 NYC Pizza Run: Tickets for the second annual New York City Pizza Run went on sale today. Participants will run 2.25 miles, stopping to scarf down a slice of pizza three times throughout the course. A portion of the proceeds from the event, which takes place at Tompkins Square Park in Brooklyn, will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. (Try to beat the time set last year by The Daily Meal's Eat/Dine editor, Arthur Bovino: 25:00.)

• Green City Market Chef's BBQ Benefit: Tickets are now available for the Green City Market Chef's BBQ Benefit, an annual Chicago culinary event. Chefs from over 100 Chicago restaurants will pair up with local farmers to develop dishes that utilize local, seasonal produce.

• Portland Indie Wine & Food Festival: Eater is giving away one pair of tickets to the Portland Indie Wine & Food Festival, happening this upcoming Saturday. The event will feature wines from over 40 local wineries as well as small plates from a handful of Portland restaurants.
