Where To Celebrate Mother's Day 2015 In New York City

BKB
At BKB, the new New York City outpost of the Hamptons' Bay Kitchen Bar, executive chef/owner Eric Miller will offer a four-course $48 prix fixe dinner with a complimentary glass of Champagne for all moms. The meal begins with a raw bar platter for the table and the choice of either fresh jumbo lump crabcake or a seasonal spring vegetable salad with sheep's milk feta cheese.  For the entrée, choose from three BKB signatures: harbor fluke, roasted herb-stuffed chicken, or slow-turned Long Island duck. End on a sweet note with a seasonal dessert of berry rhubarb crumble with house-made buttermilk ice cream. Call the restaurant to make a reservation.

Eataly's Manzo and Pranzo
Manzo and Pranzo will celebrate mothers and mother figures during Eataly's first brunches ever. The $39 prix fixe menu in each eatery will feature Italian twists on classics like grilled octopus with salsa verde and peperonata (Manzo) and house-made cheese and black pepper ravioli with sautéed cherry tomatoes and crispy pancetta (Pranzo). Both menus will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and reservations are strongly recommended.

NYY Steak
Is Mom a big fan of our Bronx Bombers? If so, bring her to NYY Steak in Midtown, where Mother's Day treats come threefold this year. You'll get a free pink Yankee hat for each mom (while supplies last), their menu of steakhouse favorites like Maryland lump crab cakes and steak and tomato salad, and all parties who spend $200 or more on the meal will receive a voucher for four tickets to a Yankee game in May or June. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Park Hyatt New York
This year, Park Hyatt New York's The Back Room at One57 and The Living Room are offering a three-course brunch created by executive chef Sebastien Archambault and pastry chef Scott Cioe. For $65, guests can enjoy options like burrata salad with spring peas, lemon, mint, and an olive oil crouton; a wagyu beef culotte with an olive oil poached egg, porcini mushrooms, and scallion vinaigrette; and Tcho Chocolate soufflé with malted coconut ice cream and salted caramel. For an additional $40, the restaurant offers impeccable wine pairings of riesling from Heart & Hand in Finger Lakes, New York, 2012; 2014 vintage of sauvignon blanc from the Yakima Valley in Washington; and Oporto's finest, a late bottled vintage Taylor Fladgate Port, all curated by Tristan Prat-Vincent, a former mainstay at the Michelin-starred Veritas. The Back Room boasts one of the city's most exclusive lists of premier vintage Champagne and wines against floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Carnegie Hall and beneath a sprawling glass chandelier. Show your gratitude for all that your mother does while seated in the sophisticated dining room or lounge, which offers a soft color palette of inviting neutrals with modern accents.
