You might not have realized this, but some locations of Wendy’s serve breakfast. It was an experiment that most franchisees discontinued, but at the franchises that still serve it, offerings include bacon, eggs, asiago, and hollandaise on ciabatta; panini with eggs, cheese, tomato, and bacon or sausage; a honey butter chicken biscuit; a sausage biscuit; oatmeal; a sausage, egg, and cheese burrito; bacon or sausage, egg, and cheese on a biscuit; homestyle potatoes; and an oatmeal bar.
As for what time breakfast is available, we also suggest you call ahead before visiting. The locations that serve breakfast generally do so from 6 to 10:30 a.m. After that, those locations switch over to their standard lunch menu.
Wendy’s first experimented with breakfast in 1985, but it was unsuccessful due to several issues. Only about 12 locations stuck with it after it was discontinued shortly after being introduced. The chain started rolling out breakfast nationally in 2007, but as of today most locations still don’t offer it. For the vast majority of Wendy’s locations, they start serving lunch right when the restaurant opens, which is usually at 10:30 am.
