D.C. is getting one of its first Indian street food joints, the formerly private, guest-only rooftop dining room, Grill Room, is now open to the public , plus you can enjoy a summertime wine tasting highlighting great wines from a Virginia winery. Bindaas, Ashok Bajaj's Exciting New Indian Restaurant to Open Soon
Steady yourself if you love Rasika, because acclaimed restaurateur, Ashok Bajaj is set to open Bindaas, an exciting new 50-seat restaurant and bar that will serve Indian street food featuring an exciting menu created by renowned executive chef Vikram Sunderman. This new concept is set to open in early August and will be located at 3309 Connecticut Avenue NW, next door to Ardeo, in what was the former Bardeo space.

ENO Wine Bar Welcomes Barboursville Vineyards for a Special Summer-themed ENOversity 
Beat the heat at ENO Wine Bar, Georgetown's favorite wine bar Wednesday, July 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Barboursville Vineyard's chief sommelier, Jason Tesauro, will lead you through a tasting of three distinctive wines that include the Vermentino Reserve, which is a dry but distinctively luscious white wine; the Brut Rosé, a sparkling 100% Pinot Noir;  and the Nebbiolo Reserve 2013, a complex, luscious wine that is world class.  Keep it local and pair your Virginia wine with Maryland cheeses that include a hard, sharp Amber 16 Cheddar made by Chapel's Country Creamery or a mild Big Woods Blue from Cowgirl Creamery. Grill Room Rooftop Restaurant Opens to Public at Rosewood Hotel
For stunning views and incomparable dining, The Grill Room at Rosewood Hotel was always a sure thing. This top-notch restaurant was only open to hotel guests, but executive chef Frank Ruta is now opening its doors to everyone. The Grill Room specializes in preparing hand-cut, bone-in, artisanal meats and fresh seafood complimented with seasonal produce sourced from Pennsylvania, Southern Maryland, and Virginia. Look for a constantly evolving, rotating menu with signature dishes like roasted half chicken with lemon-marinated greens; torcinelle pasta al ragu; and the chef's signature mortadella burger.
