Posh Café Marais Offers A Parisian Brunch Menu Just Outside Of Detroit
Situated inside the award winning Marais restaurant in Gross Pointe, MI., Café Marais offers brunch Tuesday through Sunday. A curated and well-thought out menu of sweet and savory options makes this a great spot to grab something to go or eat inside and relax in the posh bar and lounge area.
Executive chef Gilbert bases the rotating menu of doughnutlys, cinnamon rolls, quiche, and viennoiserie off what is available seasonally at nearby local markets. He recently added a crepe menu that offers six different delicious crepes for customers to choose from.
When we stopped in we were able to try the Boston Cream and Nutella doughnut and a gorgeous vegetarian crepe filled with gooey cheese, mushrooms and spinach. Everything is baked fresh that day and can be paired with a cappuccino or latte served in the café's beautiful china cups. The earlier you arrive the better, once something sells out it's gone for the day!
