Delivery Service Caviar Rolls Out Secret Menu Items, Late-Night Delivery In New York City
If you live in New York City and haven't yet ordered some tasty grub through Caviar, you've been missing out. Though it's not exactly inexpensive, no other service makes the ordering process quite so enjoyable: After signing in, you can scroll through restaurants that will deliver to you and see individual photos of every available item on their menus. Because the company handles delivery themselves, the delivery zone is surprisingly vast, and their curated roster of restaurants is also really impressive, with some of the city's hottest restaurants offering delivery exclusively through them. If you're looking to order sesame chicken from the place down the block, look elsewhere; if you're looking to order soup dumplings from that hot new spot in downtown Brooklyn, this is the place.
Within the past week, the company has rolled out a couple nice new perks: secret menu items available only through Caviar and late-night delivery. Here are some new secret menu items worth getting excited about:
The Monkey Bread Bacon PBJ from Quality Eats: Grilled Neuske's bacon, peanut butter, and jalapeño jelly on fresh-baked monkey bread
The Chazy-Boom-Wow from Emmy Squared: Detroit-inspired square pizza topped with meatballs
Panda Fries from Baohaus: Hand-cut taro fries seasoned with Haus spices and topped with minced pork
The Chinese Hanging Pork Rib Dinner from Kings County Imperial: 12 Chinese hanging pork ribs, Szechuan cucumber salad, cold sesame noodles, and soup
The Speedy Romeo Pizza Muffuletta Sandwich from Speedy Romeo: a double-dough pizza load filled with house-made mozzarella and provel cheese, grilled mortadella, hot and sweet sopressata, finocchiona, green olive celery giardiniera, and pickled chiles, served with a dill pickle and potato chips
Crispy Short Rib Tacos from Otto's Tacos: Fried short rib taco topped with spicy mayo, guacamole, cilantro, green onion, and Sriracha
