10 Restaurants That Serve Only 1 Thing (Slideshow)

Potatopia, New York City

At Potatopia, the one constant behind every dish served is potatoes. You can get them topped with just about anything you can imagine, and these gut-busting creations are nothing short of delicious. Low-carb dieters need not apply!

The Meatloaf Bakery, Chicago

This place specializes in eight different types of meatloaf, from a classic made with beef, pork, and veal to bacon cheeseburger to a vegetarian lentil loaf. They're all available as mini-sandwiches, cupcakes, or full loaves.

Porchetta, New York City

Chef Sarah Jenkins sells what's easily one of New York's best sandwiches out of this tiny storefront, and it's porcine perfection: slow-roasted pork belly-wrapped pork loin, basted with herbs and tucked into fresh bread. They also started selling veggie and chicken sandwiches recently, but everyone just comes for the pork.

Pommes Frites, New York City

This tiny East Village eatery sells heaping cones of perfectly twice-fried Belgian-style french fries to the hungry masses, along with more than a dozen varieties of dipping sauces.

Le Relais de Venise, Various Locations

Le Relais de Venise, which got its start in Paris but has since made its way stateside, looks like a fine French restaurant, but there's no menu. Instead you get a salad, sliced steak in a rich sauce, and a mound of fries. And they'll even give you seconds if you ask nicely!

The Meatball Shop, New York City

The place that arguably started it all, Manhattan's The Meatball Shop sells nothing but meatballs, in a handful of varieties and applications. Because who doesn't like meatballs?

Paul’s Pel’meni, Madison, Wis.

Tiny little Russian dumplings are all that's for sale at this tiny restaurant in Madison, Wis. Dumplings come filled with either beef or potato, and if you order them with "the works" they'll come topped with melted butter, sweet chile sauce, minced cilantro, a dusting of yellow curry on top, and a side of sour cream. You'll want to order them with the works.

Rice to Riches, New York City

This shop specializes in rice pudding, and has the formula down to a science. You can go for the classic, but why not gussy it up with a selection of 19 flavors, including "Coconut Coma," "Butterscotch Boulevard," "Coast to Coast Cheesecake," and "Take Me to Tiramisu"?

Macbar, New York City

Twelve different varieties of macaroni and cheese are available at this cute little shop located in New York's NoLiTa neighborhood, and they're all outrageously delicious. From the classic to cheeseburger mac to one decked out with fresh lobster, tarragon, cognac, and mascarpone, you can't go wrong.

Empire Biscuit, New York City

This just-opened shop sells nothing but — you guessed it — biscuits. Open 24 hours a day, they sell biscuits filled with 24 different butters, jams, and spreads, and also ones stuffed with everything from bacon, egg, and cheese to spiced fried chicken.
