Easy Filet Mignon Steak
- 2 strips of bacon
- Two 4-ounce filet mignon steaks
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
Filet mignon is such a tender cut of beef, you don't need to do much to make it taste amazing. This recipe just adds a bit of bacon to the mix, but it's an optional addition to a great meal.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Wrap the edges of your steak with bacon and secure with toothpicks.
Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 1 minute on each side.
Place the steaks in the oven, reduce the heat to 325 degrees, and bake for 5 minutes. Flip the steak over and continue baking for another 3 minutes for medium rare. Adjust cooking time according to oven consistency and taste preference.
Note: You can serve the steak alongside steamed carrots, zucchini butter, or some classic mashed potatoes.
