Dinner For One May Be A Hit In London

Table for one?

Not many love to eat alone. Yet it seems that the concept of solo dining proves to be popular and in demand in the UK, which is exactly the reason solo dining pop-up Eenmaal is looking to create a permanent home in London.

The pop-up, which started in Amsterdam, offers only tables for one, hoping to help many embrace the concept of solo dining. Eenmaal's move to the UK has been garnering positive responses in London, said designer Marina van Goor who created Eenmaal.

""I would love to start a permanent venue in London if I find the right collaboration and investors to do so," van Goor said. "I am sure it will work in London."

The concept seems to be popular among individuals as well as newspapers, magazines and those involved in the creative world, van Goor said.

Word is that van Goor is eager to expand Eenmaal not only to the UK but also has her eyes set on Berlin, Germany, as well as the United States.
