It may still be blazing hot in Vegas, but at the Vesper Bar in The Cosmopolitan, it's beginning to feel like fall. Mixologist Chris Hopkins has whipped up a new cocktail in honor of a popular fall pasttime, deer hunting. The Deer Hunter is a mix of features, including Domaine de Canton, Plymouth Sloe gin, Glenfiddich 15-year, lemon juice, spiced honey, oranges, and cloves.
- 1 1/4 ounces Domaine de Canton
- 1 ounce Plymouth Sloe gin
- 3/4 ounce Glenfiddich 15-year
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce cardamon/black pepper honey syrup
- 1 swath of orange peel
- 2 cloves
Muddle orange peel and cloves. Add remaining ingredients. Shake and fine strain.
