Fig and Olive Melrose is hosting a four-course French Riviera inspired menu as well as a cocktail reception on December 31, 2013. The white and gold dinner party includes live music, party favors and a balloon drop at midnight. $100 per person for cocktail reception, $150 per person for dinner.
Ray’s and Stark Bar Host Festive Dinners
Ray’s and Stark Bar at LACMA will host two special holiday dinners in December. On December 16, a Noggin Hoggin dinner will pay homage to the pig with a nose to tail menu. Trattoria Neapolis Hosts Feast of the Seven Cows Holiday Menu
Pasadena’s rustic Italian restaurant Trattoria Neapolis is hosting a meat inspired Feast of the Seven Cows Christmas Eve dinner. The seven-course all beef meal includes crispy veal sweetbread, oxtail ravioli and beef Carpaccio among other dishes. Pre-order by December 21, four courses $59, seven courses $88.
Santa Monica’s FIG Restaurant Highlights Local Ingredients for Christmas Dinner
Located at the historic Fairmount Miramar Hotel, FIG restaurant Chef Ray Garcia is offering a menu full of organically grown and locally sourced ingredients for Christmas Dinner. The family style dishes include porchetta with parsnip grits, poblano tamales, wheat berry salad with carrots and pomegranates and almond panna cotta. Seatings at noon, 3 and 6 pm, $69 per adult, $35 per child.
Valentino Offers Bon Natale Holiday Feast
Valentino will offer a special Bon Natale five-course dinner on Xmas Eve. The holiday menu includes dishes inspired by Sardinia and Sicily. Guests can choose from a wide variety of items including faro, beets and lobster salad, porcini mushrooms and polenta, squid ink penne and grilled John Dory. 6:30 pm, $85 per person.
The Oaks Gourmet
Hollywood’s The Oaks Gourmet is offering full Christmas dinners for pick up and will be open Christmas Day for last minute wine, cheese and gourmet items. Their carry out Christmas dinner includes spiral cut ham, spiced yams, herbed mashed potatoes and almond brown butter green beans, $19.95 per serving, orders must be placed by December 23 at 323.871.8894.
Hotel Bel Air and Beverly Hills Hotel Host Christmas Eve Dinners in the 90210
Head to the 90210 for an elegant Xmas Even dinner at either the Beverly Hills Hotel or Hotel Bel Air. The Beverly Hills Hotel’s menu includes Polo Lounge tortilla soup, veal cheeks, Miyagi oysters, country ham, turkey, filet mignon and Maine lobster. Wolfgang Puck’s Hotel Bel Air is serving chestnut soup, steak tartare, branzino, lobster pot pie, duck breast and venison. Both locations begin dinner service at 5 pm, Polo Lounge price is $135 per person, Hotel Bel Air price is $160 per person.
Red Medicine Hosting New Year’s Eve Dinner
Red Medicine’s Chef Jordan Kahn has created a special New Year’s Eve menu including trout roe with lemon curd and snap peas, Dungeness crab with passionfruit, and smoked lamb with yellow roots and mango. Prices vary, open till 2 am.
Celebrate the New Year in Old Hollywood Style at Mo-Chica, Picca and Paiche
Chef Ricardo Zarate welcomes 2013 at all three of his LA restaurants, Mo-chica, Picca and Paiche with Peruvian cuisine and nostalgic glamour. Mo-chica will offer a Great Gatsby theme with a live DJ, keepsake photo and free champagne. Picca will offer a James Bond theme with blackjack and craps in the 007 lounge, a DJ and free champagne. Paiche will offer a burlesque Moulin Rouge theme with dancers, a live swing band and a DJ. First seatings for all are at 6pm, second seatings at 8 pm, prices range from $65 per person to $125 per person.
