This will in fact seal the deal: the deal to a fantastic New Year's Day brunch. The Deal Sealer cocktail is made at the Beachside Restaurant and Bar in Marina del Rey, Calif., by Rob Cocolin.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 strawberries
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce St. Germain
  • prosecco, to top

DIRECTIONS

Muddle strawberries with 3 basil leaves, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add vodka and St. Germain. Shake vigorously and single strain into glass. Top with prosecco, and garnish with 1 basil leaf.
