Foursquare Tips

  • It's a tough call. If you stay inside, you'll be cozy in the main dining room, where handsome waiters (we didn't spy a single waitress) shuttle trays of cocktails and light fixtures turn rainbow color
  • Best bloody mary I've ever had - and that includes every type. Great brunch and not too crowded!
  • Love their drinks!
  • Always grab the marg - they r good! Burger and the penne are great as well!
  • Great food! Sit outside if the weather permits!
  • A little off the beaten path (the southermost part of the city), dbar has become very popular with the gays. Tip: Check out Show Tune Tuesday, a gay video night and singalong with VJ Rompy. FUN.
  • Rosemary French fries. Oh my!
  • We are LOVING iThursdays! Make your own iPod playlist and you can be the DJ every Thursday at dbar!
  • Check out Showtunes Tuesday, every Tuesday at 9PM. It's great, even if you're not the broadway type.
  • Yeah baby! Tea Dance is on!
  • William Kovel, chef of Catalyst Restaurant, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Penne la Bolognaise.
  • Try the Saint a light bourbon summer sip
  • The peppercorn encrusted tuna tartar with "forbidden rice"? To die for. DITM
  • The Monthly Wine Dinners are a great way to have a spectacular meal and sample the menu! First Wed of every month!
  • The Gnocchi! Omg! Must try it!
  • The food just can't be beat, and the waiters are awfully cute.
  • The pomosa at brunch is delicious!
  • Cocktails are a bit expensive, but the Raspberry Lime Rickey is totally worth it.
  • Try the beet tartar. Awesomeness in multiple colors
  • The food is fantastic, best restaurant in the area.
