This lower east side staple might be dreary from the front, but inside is a covered garden and often, customers with their adorable pet dogs.
Holy Jesus, D.B.A. has awesome beers. They had Double Dead Guy Ale, which I didn't even know existed... (Awesome)
Patience is key for getting a drink.
Staff here seem to have an attitude. Am always talked down to despite asking basic, reasonable questions.
Bathrooms and service suck ass
Hot mulled cider with rum OR whiskey. Heaven in a slow cooker...
Lazy afternoon?... want great beer?... want to sit outside? D.B.A. is the answer
Dogs are welcome at this bar. Come in and grab a beer with your pup.
Grab a few and plan on staying for awhile when its nice out - the backgarden is on our top urban oasis list.
Ask if you cab pet the cat in the box. It's cute & licks itself on the bar.
Two TVs showing Yankees game, none showing Mets, refused to put things right. Obviously a despicable place run by terrible people.
Great dog friendly bar with outdoor seating in the back!
This place has the best beer selection and is always swarming w laid back good looking people. The back patio is one of my fave spots to post up for hours.
Best beer/whiskey bar in the city (and i live across the street)
If whiskey is your drink, then this is your place. Gets crowded on the weekends. Visit during the week and bring your dog.

Come Sunday afternoon happy hour for the free Russ & Daughters bagels with toppings and relax on the back patio.
Dog friendly and back patio. Sounds like a perfect summer activity.
Back patio is good for groups, get there early to snag a table on sunny days.
There's a cat here who hangs out in the back office. Her name is Maggie. Sometimes she pops out of the office to entertain guests. By the looks of it, she doesn't like being picked up.
