I know most of you out there want to escape October like you do a bad hookup. But don't run too fast, because Baltimore is bringing back their epic drinking party next month. Kick off Baltimore Beer Week at Das Best OktoberFest on October 11th in M&T Stadium's parking lot.

Throw on your Lederhosen and bring your green hat to the party of the year. With over 150 international, domestic and local Maryland beers, domestic wines and schnapps, you are sure to have a wunderbar time.

If you opt for the regular admission session, you can pay $39 in advance or $47 on site. Enter the fest around 2pm and grab your souvenir tasting glass for an all you can taste sampling until 5:45pm. If you're looking to feel real German and you hate people, grab the VIP band ahead of time for $59 and get a two hour head start on the regulars and access to the VIP tent with restaurants and special sampling including the Star Spangled Banger from noon to 2pm. Also, with your VIP pass you'll be able to brag about your access to the Baltimore Beer Week Opening Tap Celebration, and have the chance to pee and park next to one of the celebrity guests in the VIP bathrooms and parking lot...respectively.

Whether you have the Regular pass (womp womp) or VIP pass (yaaaa) don't forget your clogs because you'll both have the chance to dance your session's away with authentic oompah and polka songs, along with great live music from awesome regional bands. If you aren't in the mood to shake it fast, you can participate in one of the contests, such as The Best Beer Belly or The Miss Oktoberfest Competition to win cash prizes. But if all you really want to do is eat, drink and be merry I promise not to judge. Even if you just have a regular pass, you can enjoy several a-la-cart brat concession stands featuring the best sausages and German food Maryland has to offer.

No matter what you choose to do, make sure to grab your DD (for a $25 regular pass and $39 VIP access/food) so you can enjoy the Ravens destruction of the Buccaneers without too many issues (besides the usual Sunday hangover).
