Throughout the year, The Daily Meal has had many opportunities to go out and shoot beautiful photos. We covered the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco, the Tony Awards after-party at New York's iconic Plaza Hotel, the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, the New York City Wine & Food Festival, and so much more.

We ate delicious (understatement of the year!) food, mingled with some of the best chefs, and drank, well, a lot. But, before we ate, before we chugged (or sipped, if you’re fancy), we shot. We captured the action at festivals, and believe me, there was a lot of it. Chefs were hard at work (and play) and we got them in action. From Joey Chestnut eating 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes to Aziz Ansari chowing down on a dog at The Great GoogaMooga, we got everything on film. Don’t worry, this isn't just a slideshow of a bunch of people eating, there’s some scrumptious looking dishes and drinks in there as well.
