Hey, hey, Mother's Day is coming on May 11th this year and that usually means brunch or dinner for Mama, given it's one of the most popular days for restaurants.Perhaps you'll be making her breakfast in bed using these great recipes we recently featured.

But what we think is super fun is trying some innovative Mother's Day cocktails, courtesy of the best bars and restaurants in the country.

Whether you head to your local hangout, or take your special lady on vacation, think beyond the usual peach-nectar Bellini's and orange juice-and-champagne mimosas and see if there's a delicious drink being offered that day.

Chances are you'll be surprised by drinks with quirky names like "Her Royal Highness" or "Mother's Day Bouquet Lemonatta." Just make sure that you book your table reservation right away if you haven't already, as they tend to go fast this time of year.

Sure, a macaroni necklace or a coffee mug will still warm her heart, but the gift of liquid love can never go wrong! Here are nine places that have some cute Mother's Day cocktails on their menu. We've even provided the basic ingredients in case you want to try and mix them yourself at home.

Rittenhouse Hotel, Philadelphia

Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Hotel has a new lobby Library Bar, in addition to Bar 210 at Lacroix, their elegant restaurant. Those visiting over Mother's Day weekend can try the Blushing Mama, a vodka-based cocktail made with lime juice, passion fruit purée, and a splash of Aperol, an orange-liqueur. Or how about what every mom wants? A Moment to Myself, pictured here, is a Southern Comfort-based drink, infused with passion fruit purée and fresh brewed tea.

Ariana, New York

Ariana, a Soho New York Russian restaurant and vodka bar, will serve what they call a "mimosa on steroids" on Mother's Day. Instead of using traditional orange juice, though, this kicky cocktail features red currant juice and the rare sea-buckthorn berry, a fruit from the Himalayas. Orange liqueur adds an extra punch. Mama said knock you out? Yeah, we think so!
