Create A Valentine's Day Dinner For Your Sweetheart

This year, surprise your valentine with a home cooked meal. Below is a fool-proof menu to serve your sweetheart, courtesy of Iberia Foods, to help make this Valentine’s Day one to remember.

Ingredients
  • 1 8 oz jar iberia roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup iberia extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 toasted french baguette cut into slices
  • 2 garlic cloves cut into small squares
  • 16 ounce penne pasta
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup iberia extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon iberia extra virgin olive oil to boil the pasta
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 cup grated romano or parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt to boil the pasta
  • 1 ounce pine nuts sautéed in iberia extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cloves of grated garlic
  • 1 roll of crescents
  • non-stick spray
  • 1 package of iberia guava paste

  2. Cut the red peppers in small squares; mix with the garlic, Iberia Olive Oil, fresh basil and salt/pepper.
  3. Place the mix on each slice of bread.

  5. Put 2 liters of wáter to boil with the teaspoon of salt and oil, then add the pasta to cook for 10 minutes until its ready. Drain and add the grated garlic, oregano, cheese, pine nuts and salt/pepper to taste.
  6. Prior to serving, add the cup of Iberia Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray or butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Unroll the crescents and separate them. Spread spoon sized amount of Iberia Guava Paste on each opened crescent. Carefully roll the crescent and place in oven. Bake for 16 – 19 minutes or until golden brown color.
