The Cream Event Hits It Big with Engaged New York City Couples

The Los Angeles-based brand headed east to show brides and grooms what they’re missing from their big day and how to get it

Tuesday night, at Manhattan's Center548 in Chelsea, two floors filled with more than 50 vendors and hundreds of Gotham-based brides.

All were on hand for the main event: a bridal showcase brought you by Bash, Please, a Culver City, Calif., event planning company. The event, called The Cream, covered all the wedding basics, from wedding gowns, musicians, photographers, and videographers to caterers, bakers, and more.

While the New York event housed New York vendors like Brooklyn-based caterers The Good Cheer Co. and bakery The Bee’s Knees, West Coast imports came to show their goods, too, like Swanson Vineyards from Napa, Calif.

A bride-to-be myself, my eyes were widened by everything — the lush floral arrangements by Hatch, the elaborate and whimsical table stylings of Poppies and Posies, and the bubbly cocktails made from Morris Kitchen syrups. This was all after munching on Korean beef tacos and goat cheese and beet crostini, obviously.

While there was much to take in, there are tons of great vendors, ideas, and visuals to share. Stay tuned for more coverage from The Cream NYC.
