Foursquare Tips

  • Try the Assorted Cheeses
  • Buy the mt tam and then head next door for some yummy bread!
  • Pick up some cheese and then some bread at Acme next door.
  • Don't get an egg cream unless you enjoy disappointment
  • If it's warmer cheesiness you're looking for, try Cowgirl's Sidekick Cafealso in the Ferry Buildingwhere the crew melts their offerings into mac & cheese, grilled cheeses and naan flatbread melts.
  • If you like the cheese here, you can take a trip to see how it is made.
  • Go a bit before closing - they were kindly generous with samples. :)
  • Get dry jacked.
  • Try the Breakfast Sandwich - Gruyere, grilled mushrooms, eggs and pancetta. This is why you should make time for breakfast.
  • Good cheeses but the attitude has become a real issue here. They don't cut any cheeses anymore for instance.
  • The carbonated milk isn't all that great - don't spend the money.
  • GRILLED CHEESE IS A MUST
  • They serve raclette on weekends
  • Super helpful and friendly staff. They sell ice packs for a dollar and I was easily able to keep the cheese cold on my trip home in my check in. Highly recommend if you love cheese!
  • There's a monthly beer-and-cheese pairing they do here that's pretty lovely if I do say so myself.
  • A++ cheese, plus they do a monthly beer and cheese pairing that's immensely enjoyable.
  • We had the salami and cheese sandwich which was extraordinary! I can't wait to go back and have a bowl of soup and grilled cheese.
  • Try the Mt. Tam cheese - so good!
  • Can't go wrong with any cheese they sell. Always a great beer pairing.
  • MT TAM is my favoirte cheese. Whenever I drink wine, I need MT TAM! I thought it was something like Brie for the first time, but it's much more creamy and sweeter. Delicious!
